Qilluakitsoq is interpreted as a prospective layered alkaline intrusive complex within the broader Nunarsuit intrusive system.

Geological mapping has identified highly fractionated mafic sills, alkaline granites and syenites emplaced along deep-seated northeast–southwest-trending structures characteristic of the REE-endowed Gardar Province.

A significant orbicular Rapakivi granite unit was identified during the 2026 field program. Rapakivi granites are highly evolved intrusive rocks that may contain elevated concentrations of rare earth elements and other critical metals.

The target also contains an extensive network of mafic intrusive sills comprising gabbroic and basaltic lithologies. Black magnetic mineral sands were identified along sections of the shoreline close to these mafic units, with representative samples collected for laboratory analysis.

The occurrence of magnetic heavy mineral sands may indicate the presence of a second mineral-sand exploration system within Dalaroo’s Greenland portfolio, separate from the primary Blue Lagoon sedimentary system.

Assay and mineralogical results will be used to assess the rare earth and critical mineral potential of the mineral sands and the surrounding alkaline intrusive complex.

Dalaroo Metals has identified four new rare earth element exploration targets across its expanded Blue Lagoon Project in southern Greenland.

Regional geological mapping, airborne reconnaissance, prospecting and surface sampling completed during the 2026 field season identified the 

Qilluakitsoq, Quernertullip, Taseq and Blue Lagoon South targets

The new target areas contain prospective alkaline granites, syenites, pegmatites, aplite intrusions, structural corridors and alteration systems considered favourable for rare earth element mineralisation.

Their identification significantly expands Dalaroo’s exploration pipeline beyond the flagship Blue Lagoon prospect and highlights the broader district-scale potential of the Company’s Greenland tenure within the Gardar Alkaline Province.

More than 200 geological, rock chip, stream sediment and surface samples were collected during the 2026 exploration program. Laboratory analysis, mineralogical studies and geological interpretation are now underway to evaluate the new targets and prioritise areas for follow-up exploration and future drilling.

Quernertullip comprises a well-defined, layered and ring-shaped alkaline intrusive complex considered prospective for rare earth element mineralisation.

Initial mapping and reconnaissance sampling focused on the elevated rim of the caldera-like intrusive structure, where favourable geological contacts and structural features are exposed.

Mapping confirmed the presence of prospective syenites and alkaline granites, together with numerous contacts between the different intrusive phases. Localised metasomatic alteration was also observed near several of these contacts.

These geological environments are considered favourable for the concentration of rare earth elements within evolved alkaline intrusive systems.

Numerous felsic and mafic dykes were identified close to the principal intrusive contacts. Localised brittle deformation was also observed within quartz veins and pegmatitic bodies, indicating that the target has experienced multiple phases of intrusive and structural activity.

These relationships may have provided pathways for hydrothermal fluid movement and will be a focus of future geological mapping, geochemical sampling and target generation.

Evidence of brittle structural deformation

Taseq is a prospective alkaline granite intrusive complex displaying widespread geological features considered favourable for rare earth element mineralisation.

Initial mapping identified pink metasomatic alteration along the western and eastern margins of the intrusion. This alteration may reflect the movement of alkaline hydrothermal fluids through the upper levels of the intrusive system.

Pink aplite sills were mapped at both the northern and southern ends of the intrusive complex. A major brittle shear zone also crosses the southern part of the target, cutting pink syenites and alkaline granite units.

Quartz veining, brecciation and structural deformation associated with the shear zone provide evidence of multiple pathways for fluid migration.

The combination of alkaline intrusive rocks, metasomatic alteration, aplite intrusions and structurally controlled hydrothermal activity makes Taseq a high-priority target for further evaluation.

Taseq is also located immediately east of Amaroq Minerals’ Ilua REE discovery, placing the target within an increasingly active rare earth exploration district.

 immediately south of Dalaroo’s flagship Blue Lagoon prospect.

The target was identified through geological mapping and helicopter-supported airborne reconnaissance completed during the 2026 exploration campaign.

Initial fieldwork confirmed geological units similar to those observed at the main Blue Lagoon Project, including extensive fenite alteration, quartz syenites and pink alkaline granites.

These lithologies are considered favourable host rocks for rare earth element mineralisation within alkaline intrusive systems.

Mapping also identified tourmaline-rich granites, aplite and pegmatite intrusions, quartz vein swarms and extensive areas of colluvial cover derived from the surrounding alkaline rocks.

Blue Lagoon South is positioned adjacent to Amaroq Minerals’ Ilua REE discovery, where drilling is evaluating a large pegmatite-hosted rare earth system.

The continuation of prospective alkaline intrusive geology into Dalaroo’s tenure highlights the potential for a broader fertile rare earth system across this part of southern Greenland.

Blue Lagoon South substantially increases Dalaroo’s prospective exploration footprint and represents a compelling target for systematic mapping, surface geochemistry and future drill-target generation.
