Bondoukou RC Drilling Moves to Two-Shift Operations

Dalaroo Metals Limited (ASX: DAL; OTCQB: DALMF) is pleased to report continued progress from its maiden reverse circulation drilling campaign at the Bondoukou Gold Ridge Project in Côte d’Ivoire.

Following the successful completion of initial operating-procedure testing and training of local support personnel, drilling has moved to two-shift operations, including a night shift. The rig is expected to operate six days per week, subject to safety, equipment availability, ground conditions and community requirements.

Approximately 430 metres of the initial 24-hole, 4,200-metre orientation program have been completed. The first hole, BDRC001, was completed to a final depth of 250 metres, while the second hole had advanced to 180 metres of its planned 250-metre depth at the date of the announcement.

Preliminary geological logging of BDRC001 identified several zones of quartz veining with characteristics similar to veins observed in nearby artisanal workings. These observations are preliminary and visual only. Laboratory assays are required to determine whether gold mineralisation is present and, if so, its grade and significance.

The first batch of RC samples has now been dispatched to the laboratory, with initial assay results expected within approximately six weeks, subject to laboratory turnaround times and completion of Dalaroo’s QA/QC validation.

The orientation program is testing priority areas across the Wilfred, Mag and Ali targets. Information obtained from each hole will be progressively incorporated into Dalaroo’s geological and structural interpretation to refine the orientation, sequence and priority of subsequent drilling.

Subject to results from the initial 24 holes, the broader Phase 1 program provides for a further 78 RC holes, bringing the planned campaign to approximately 12,000 metres.
