Blue Lagoon Mapping Defines Structural Controls on REE Mineralisation

Dalaroo Metals Limited (ASX: DAL; OTCQB: DALMF) has completed detailed geological and structural mapping at its 100%-owned Blue Lagoon Rare Earth Project in southern Greenland, significantly advancing the Company’s understanding of the geological controls on potential rare earth element mineralisation.

The 2026 program collected 354 structural measurements across the project, covering faults, quartz veins, pegmatites, dolerite dykes and felsic intrusive bodies. The results have defined recurring structural orientations associated with quartz veining, pegmatite emplacement, hydrothermal alteration and the broader architecture of the Blue Lagoon intrusive complex.

Importantly, several mapped quartz-vein and pegmatite orientations display similarities to the structural setting of the nearby Ilua REE pegmatite discovery. This provides Dalaroo with an important regional framework for identifying prospective structural corridors and potential primary REE source rocks within the broader Blue Lagoon system.

Mapping also identified widespread alkaline intrusive and altered lithologies, including alkali granites, syenites, fenites, extensive aplite sills, amazonite-bearing pegmatites and quartz-vein systems. The close association between prospective intrusive phases, structural pathways and widespread fenitisation highlights the scale and complexity of the alkaline intrusive-hydrothermal system.

The mapping has also strengthened Dalaroo’s source-to-sink exploration model. Structurally controlled valleys and drainage systems may have transported weathered material from elevated REE-prospective source rocks into the lower-lying Blue Lagoon sedimentary basin.

Four additional prospective areas—Qilluakitsoq, Quernertullip, Taseq and Blue Lagoon South—have now been incorporated into the Company’s broader regional exploration model.

Dalaroo will integrate the structural results with more than 200 geological, rock-chip, stream-sediment and surface-sediment samples, together with lagoon and offshore sampling, GPR, bathymetry, mineralogy and preliminary metallurgical test work.
