Stage 1 Soil Sampling Extends Watheroo Cu-Ni Footprint by ~2 km²

Dalaroo Metals Limited (ASX: DAL) has completed Stage 1 of its systematic soil sampling program at the Company’s 100%-owned Watheroo Project in Western Australia.

The program comprised 106 soil samples targeting the southern extension of previously identified copper and nickel anomalies. Results have extended the known Cu-Ni geochemical footprint by approximately 2 km² to the south of the historical sampling area.

Peak results include 284 ppm copper and 176 ppm nickel, with locally elevated values of up to 10 ppb platinum, 10 ppb palladium and 10 ppb gold.

Encouragingly, the Cu-Ni geochemical response shows a strong spatial association with mapped mafic-ultramafic rocks and the underlying magnetic feature. This supports Dalaroo’s interpretation of a potentially significant intrusive system and provides a clear focus for the next phase of exploration.

Stage 2 will comprise the remaining approximately 360 planned soil samples, including infill and extensional sampling. Planned ground geophysics will provide an additional dataset to help define and rank priority targets for potential maiden drilling.
