Blue Lagoon Defines REE System and Multiple New Targets
Summary
Blue Lagoon Exploration Program Defines Regional Rare Earth System and Delivers Four New REE Targets
Dalaroo Metals has successfully completed its largest and most comprehensive exploration program ever undertaken at the 100%-owned Blue Lagoon Rare Earth Project in southern Greenland, marking a major milestone in the Company's exploration strategy.
The 2026 field season has transformed Blue Lagoon from an early-stage exploration concept into a well-defined regional rare earth system. Geological mapping has identified four new REE target areas, expanded the Company's exploration footprint, and significantly strengthened its emerging source-to-sink exploration model.
Over 200 geological, rock chip, stream sediment and surface sediment samples have been collected across the project and are now being transported to ALS Laboratories in Perth for comprehensive analysis. The program also included detailed structural mapping, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), bathymetric surveys and lagoon sediment sampling, creating one of the most comprehensive exploration datasets assembled over the project.
Highlights from the field season include:
Largest exploration campaign completed at Blue Lagoon to date.
Four new REE targets identified through regional geological mapping.
Blue Lagoon South expands the Company's prospective footprint by approximately 34km² adjacent to Amaroq's Ilua REE discovery.
Multiple REE-prospective alkaline intrusive systems mapped.
Widespread pegmatites and eudialyte-like mineral occurrences identified for laboratory confirmation.
GPR, bathymetric and sediment sampling completed to support future drill targeting.
With field work complete, Dalaroo will now integrate geological mapping, geochemistry, mineralogy, GPR, bathymetry and sediment datasets into the first comprehensive 3D geological model of the Blue Lagoon REE system.
The Company expects this work to generate high-priority drill targets while continuing to unlock the regional-scale potential of one of southern Greenland's emerging rare earth districts.
