Peak 2,188ppb Au Defines 4.3km Gold-in-Soil Anomaly
Dalaroo Metals (ASX: DAL | OTCQB: DALMF) has identified a significant 4.3km-long coherent gold-in-soil anomaly at the Gold Ridge Prospect within its Bondoukou Gold Project in Côte d'Ivoire.
The Priority 1 soil geochemistry program returned a peak assay of 2,188ppb Au (2.19g/t Au), with 454 samples exceeding 20ppb Au and 27 samples exceeding 200ppb Au. The anomaly is coincident with a 9km interpreted geophysical corridor, mapped fold structures, quartz veining, favourable lithological contacts and extensive artisanal gold workings.
The results provide strong validation of Dalaroo's geological model and reinforce Gold Ridge as a high-priority drill target within the Birimian Greenstone Belt. The Company has now designed a 5,000m auger drilling program to test the bedrock source of mineralisation beneath the weathered profile and rapidly advance the project toward maiden RC drilling.
Additional soil assay results covering a further 4.7km of strike remain pending and have the potential to materially expand the scale of the identified mineralised corridor.
